The farm was founded by Hans-Joachim Straub and his wife Ute Hotz-Straub in 1980 when barely noone paid attention to Aberdeen Angus and even less to organic breeding.

Since then, started with just a few cattle it began to grow and benefit from the rising demand of local, sustainable, organic and ethical cattle breeding.

We are constantly trying to achieve new ways to make stustainable and organic cattle breeding affordable, providing high qualitity breeding genetic as well as just plain, healthy and good beef.

We have an area of ​​about 126 ha of grassland. Of these, about 30 ha are nature conservation areas at an altitude of 650m.

Up here we have an average of about 700 mm of rainfall.

At the moment we have about 150 Aberdeen-Angus purebred animals, including about 60 cows with offspring. We breed female and male breeding animals.

In summer, our animals are in the pasture and in winter in open stables. In winter we feed exclusively hay, grass silage and mineral feed.

We market our breeding animals throughout Europe.

In addition to our breeding, we are particularly concerned with landscape conservation and nature conservation.
